Marvin Cole

Marvin Cole spends most of his time in jail; he’s a chaplain there. After years as a missionary, this is his “retirement.” God has given him remarkable opportunities to minister to a wide range of people.

Phil & Jan

Phil Enloe (pictured above with his wife Jan)  is multi-talented. He writes Gospel songs; one of my favorites is “Good Morning Lord.” He sings, and has done so for more than a couple of years. He and his wife Jan have ministered in 47 nations (48 if you include the US).

Bill Baize

by · Jan 22, 2017

Bill Blaze

When Bill Baize started singing Gospel music, he had to stand on a chair for people to see him. He had the beautiful soprano voice of youth.

Later, at the ripe old age of 14, Bill joined his first quartet. And he was in several others. But he is probably best known for his work with JD Sumner and the Stamps.

Bill was a Christian before he met Elvis, and explains how he stayed one while working for him.

Phyllis Anderson

Phyllis Anderson

Phyllis Anderson is a prison chaplain. She grew up in an alcoholic family. And to get away from it, she naturally married one. Staying with an alcoholic husband is not a good choice–unless God clearly tells you different (as He did for Phyllis). But her story is about redemptive change. Both in her, her husband and in the people she helps.

Joe Moscheo

You may remember Joe Moscheo from the Imperials. It’s an amazing story how they survived the death of their founder and leader Jake Hess. The group went go to became super popular, and sang backup for Elvis and Jimmy Dean. But Joe started singing and playing the piano in his Dad’s storefront church, where the service was conducted in both Italian and English.

David Johnson

David Johnson

David Johnson grew up in the hills of North Carolina and still lives there. He’s a gifted musician I love the albums he’s made of his own music but you’ll most likely hear him on albums by others. David is a studio musician. One of the best. He’s a good-ol’ country boy, a good man and a dedicated follower of Jesus.

Richard Putnam
Richard Putnam face

Richard Putnam is an arranger, keyboard player and all around good guy. When I recorded a Christmas album to raise money for my daughter’s medical needs, Richard donated his talents and did the charts. I even threw something at him last minute, and the result is one my favorite tracks.

Here’s Richard’s interview:
